Sardinia,Ohio Lotto player hit $100k with the winning KICKER number

CINCINNATI, Ohio: The holder of a winning KICKER ticket sold in Friday’s
drawing filed a claim today. Daniel Fields of Sardinia won $100,000
for saying yes to the KICKER number on his February 22 Mega Millions ticket.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Fields will receive a check for $69,000.
The winning KICKER number was 3-7-7-5-4-5.  Fields purchased the ticket from Sardinia Fuel Mart, 153 Winchester Street in Sardinia,Ohio. This agent receives a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Portal, Ga. man wins $275M Mega Millions lotto jackpot
  

Portal, Ga. ironworker is the largest single winner in Georgia Lottery history thanks to a lucky combination of his grandchildren’s birthdays. Robert Harris, 47, correctly selected the winning numbers in the Feb. 22 Mega Millions drawing and won the $275 million jackpot prize.
Harris claimed his prize at Georgia Lottery headquarters in downtown Atlanta Monday afternoon.

The jackpot amount increased from an advertised $270 million to $275 million as a result of strong sales. Harris selected the cash option, which is an estimated $167,694,000.

Harris discovered his win Saturday morning when his stepdaughter called to tell him someone in Portal won Mega Millions.

“I sat there and cried for a minute,” he shared.

Harris and his wife, Tonya, 55, have two daughters and six grandchildren. The family plans to build a new home. Mr. Harris will buy “a big four-wheel drive like I always wanted.” And a Mercedes is in Mrs. Harris’ future. They also plan to treat their grandchildren to something special.

“They’re going to Disney World,” Harris said. “My new RV and I are going to take them.”

When asked how it feels to win a $275 million jackpot, Mrs. Harris quipped, “Once I start spending it, I’ll let you know!”

The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing were: 7-12-13-19-22 and the Mega Ball was 10. Georgia Lottery retailer Clyde’s Market, Highway 80 and Metter Road in Portal, sold the winning ticket.
 

Petaluma,CA., $1 lotto ticket  earns her $80 Million
SACRAMENTO  The first time was a charm for a lucky individual from Sonoma County who had never before played the California Lottery. The Petaluma woman unexpectedly learned of her $80 million dollar prize from last week’s Wednesday drawing and is now making plans to help her kids and take her entire family on a vacation to Hawaii. The winner, who counts her blessings everyday, said winning the Lottery was a blessing from God. She never expected that $1 would bring her so much luck. When asked what she would do now that she was a millionaire she said,  We don’t want to get carried away, because we’re humble people, but I’m taking all my family out to dinner. I’d also like to take my family for a vacation in Hawaii.
The ticket was purchase at the Safeway located at 373 South McDowell Boulevard in Petaluma,CA. This retailer earned a bonus of $400,000 for selling the winning ticket.
